Announcing our new cake: the Triple Delight!

Delight in a one-of-a-kind cake. We're proud to announce our new artisan cake that's as unique as it is decadent. This traditional all-natural Indonesian cake has a moist chocolate layer surrounded by two vanilla layers, with rich carmel butter in between. As always, it's gluten free. It's a perfect cake for a special occasion or simply a gourmet snack.  

The cake originates from the Dutch Colonial era in Indonesia and is traditionally called Lapis Surabaya.  It's name is derived from the city in Java Island.

While it is known throughout Indonesia and the surrounding area as Lapis Surabaya, the people of the city simply call it "Spiku." In Indonesia, this is considered a special occasion dessert, generally serves for holidays, weddings, and birthday celebrations.  Many variations have been created, but euforia Confections is sticking with tradition using our family recipe.
